Carlin Isles: From homelessness to Rio


The USA’s Carlin Isles was the top try scorer at the 2016 Olympic Games in the rugby seven’s tournament. He was homeless before the age of six, his mother went to prison and he and his twin sister were put into foster care. They were adopted aged eight and Isles started playing sports and running track.
